The Stars

 

Our mission at CHHS, is to collect more stars than any other agency (chapter) in the state.

The spotlight is on us:


Assignment Stars Possible Stars Collected
*Perform 10 hours of community service per 20 members 2  
Publicize FBLA in the community 3  
Doing activities during vocational week.    
  • make presentation on school public address system
  • Sponsor FBLA Day
  • Design a bulletin board for school wall
  • Invite a city/government official to speak
  • Sponsor an activity with another VSO

*Honor the teachers during American Education week 5  
*Make a donation to Alabama FBLA/PBL Foundation 1/$10 donation (up to $50)  
Sponsor student voter registration 4  
Promote Free Enterprise Day 3  
*Enter competitive events at district competion    
Members shadow business persons for one day 2/student  
Adopt a child or family during a holiday 3  
Invite a state officer to a chapter meeting 2  
*Recruit at least one paid Professional member 5  
Increase membership by 10% or attain 100% membership 10  
Membership is at least 50% of business department enrollment 10  
*Submit an entry for the Advisory Council's Publicity Award 5  
Members make an FBLA presentation to a civic organization 5  
Submit an application for any national FBLA scholorship 3  
At least one member apply to Presidential classroom 3  
Enter at least one member in the Battle of the Chapters at OTC 3
Submit chapter news to at least one State Newletter (Fall or Spring) 3  

*At least three of the six activities with stars must be completed.
